We teach swimming as a lifelong habit, not a box to tick
Our aim is not to turn everyone into a competitor — it is to produce people who feel safe and easy in the water. For those who do want to race, there is the competitive squad.
How we work
The biggest obstacle to learning to swim is usually not technique but the water itself — or rather, unease about it. So our lessons start not in the lane but with getting comfortable. Once a student is at ease, breathing, balance and stroke follow in that order.
We cap groups at five. The reason is simple: no instructor can genuinely keep track of more than five students at once, either for safety or for technique. A crowded group is cheaper but stretches out how long learning takes.
Lessons take place in a regularly inspected olympic pool that meets the required standards. Every member of our instructing team holds a coaching qualification and a lifeguard certificate.
Who it suits
- Children and adults who cannot swim at all
- Anyone wanting to overcome fear of water
- Swimmers who want to correct their technique
- Swimmers preparing for competition
- Adults starting to swim on medical advice
Learning to swim properly comes down to four things
Cheap pool time means nothing on its own. Four things decide how fast someone learns, and none of them is negotiable.
- 01
Meeting the water
Pushing a nervous student into a lane is not teaching. The first lessons are built on breathing, balance and getting used to the water. Technique starts only once the student is comfortable.
- 02
The limit of five
No instructor can genuinely watch more than five students at once, for safety or for technique. Bigger groups make lessons cheaper and learning slower. We hold the line at five.
- 03
Certified instructors
Every instructor holds both a coaching qualification and a lifeguard certificate. On top of that, a lifeguard supervises every session. We keep those two things separate.
- 04
Progress you can measure
We track each student’s level and tell parents where their child is and what they are working on. “Doing well” is not feedback.
